Key to the engineering of our reliable, jet speed core network is a design that addresses the failure of not just single components in the network, but multiple component failures. The Stage 2 Network has triple fault tolerance at three different Central Offices across all services and systems including Unified Communications Services (voice, video & data), the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), Internet Transit, Transport Services and Service Provider Systems.
Another fundamental building block in the network’s physical topology is the use of optical rings driving increased redundancy and survivability – key ingredients for the Stage 2 network. The network is engineered with three (3) layers of redundancy in the optical node, three (3) optical rings between the nodes and separate dual entrances at each node. The result is an almost “meteor proof” network designed to give you, our customers, the “launch time” you require on a high quality network from an award winning company.
